About
In Leiden, the 3rd of October is a special time for a community celebration. I usually attend to visit friends and family and enjoy some delicious hutspot (a traditional mashed dish with carrots and onions). This year, I’m excited to recreate that experience with a twist—by combining it with a fun volleyball competition!You're invited to join the volleyball team competition and let me know if you'd like to enjoy some hutspot as well. The cost is $20 for the food and $10 per person for participating in the competition.
We’ve also planned other activities throughout the evening, including traditional Dutch games for the kids (like koekhappen, spijkerpoepen, and more). The games will be held in 15-minute intervals. The schedule is as follows:
- 6:00-7:00 PM: Volleyball competition and kids' games
- 7:00-8:00 PM: Dinner (Hutspot)
This is a family-friendly event, so please bring your children, grandchildren, or any other family members. When you RSVP, let me know the ages of the kids
