The Hollywood Connection at Barwon Park
Join Vivien Hamilton - mezzo-soprano, Josephine Vains - cello, Robert Chamberlain - piano, for a reprise of their popular Hollywood-inspired recital from April 2024, this time in the elegant National Trust mansion Barwon Park at Winchelsea, just past Geelong.
Enjoy fabulous works for various combinations of voice, cello and piano by Hollywood musical luminaries including André Previn, Erich Korngold, Leonard Bernstein, Nino Rota, George Gershwin, Harold Arlen (Over the Rainbow) plus up-and-coming Australian composer Luke Severn, in a program ranging from one of the most moving song-cycles of the 20th century to dynamic show-tunes from Hollywood musicals!
Ticket prices ($35/$45/$55) include the recital, viewing of the mansion and a country-style afternoon tea after the recital with the performers and other audience members.
