**cancelled** apologies, this camp is not running at this time - check back later for our Term 4 Holiday ProgramThe St Michaels Pokémon, Minecraft Camp is ideal for younger students, or those who have dabbled in coding or are trying coding for the first time.
If you are looking to introduce your child to the world of coding, this is the perfect place to start. Students will learn the foundational concepts of coding with a teacher-led project, building a video game using your child's choice of a selection of Pokémon, Minecraft, Avenger, Barbie, Frozen, Harry Potter and Sonic characters.
Junior coders will work on the Scratch Coding Platform, and will be able to save their work to a USB memory stick (not provided) to show parents their progress.
Schedule:
Morning - Scratch project
Afternoon - Minecraft Education
Devices, lunch and snacks are provided.
Students should bring:
o Water bottle - to stay hydrated throughout the day
