Wellbeing and Education (WE) Research Community proudly presents Fostering children’s growth mindset in the early years hosted by Dr Fiona Boylan. A recent update of the Nationally approved Early Years Learning Framework requires early childhood educators to assist children to develop a growth mindset for successful lifelong learning. Mindsets play a crucial role in shaping all aspects of our lives. Our mindset impacts individual beliefs and shapes our interactions with the world around us.
Dr Boylan is renowned for her pioneering work that spearheads groundbreaking, global research within the domain of growth mindset in early childhood education. Her most recent innovative research delineates a set of design principles aimed at assisting early childhood educators in cultivating a growth mindset during the early years.
In this captivating and enlightening session, she will share some of the effective strategies to nurture a growth mindset in children outlined in her recently published book “Fostering children’s growth mindset in the early years”. You will explore strategies to create a growth mindset culture that supports risk-taking and personal growth in young children.
