Breaking Barriers - A Community Wheelchair Tennis Event
WA Top Spinners presents the 2nd edition of Breaking Barriers - a Community Wheelchair Tennis event presented by Netspark.
This event embracing all levels of playing experience (including those with none) and features singles and adaptive doubles (wheelchair athlete paired with an able-bodied player) matchplay as well as Hit the Target and Movement challenges.
With plenty of prizes on offer, a welcoming setting as well light refreshments post-event, this is a great way for people to get involved either as a player or a volunteer.
Registration to participate in matchplay is essential and closes on Saturday, 28 September 2024. Having a sports wheelchair and a racquet is a bonus but if you don't have one, let us know early so we can try and sort it out.
Players are also invited to participate in our weekly training sessions in the lead up to the event.
