Join us for a memorable evening at the annual AMUAA Sir Syed Day Dinner 2024! Get ready to indulge in delicious food, enjoy entertainment and trivia, and connect with fellow attendees.Our Chief Guest this year is H. E. Gopal Baglay, Indian High Commissioner to Australia.
Mr Baglay was earlier High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka. He also served in New Delhi in the Office of the Prime Minister of India as the Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs.
The function will also be graced by Consul General of India (Sydney), Dr S. Janakiraman.
Dr Janakiraman has earlier served in various capacities in Diplomatic Missions in Brasilia, Lisbon and Pretoria. He is a charismatic person who welcomes everyone with a smile.
Keynote speaker for the night is Dr Abulkhair Jalaluddin, an Islamic Finance Expert and former Taxation Advisor. He will enlighten us on the rules and regulations regarding HECS (University and other tertiary education fee), and other financial aspects.
