Rutherglen Tastes of Art Prize 2025
Arts Rutherglen is proud to host its eighth Rutherglen Tastes of Art Prize and would like to extend an invitation to you to submit your works of art for exhibition and sales.
Arts Rutherglen is eager and keen to foster artists and promote the arts in the Rutherglen community.

Entries
We invite you to enter here for the 2025 Exhibition by clicking on the REGISTER NOW button at the top of this page.
Entry is $20 per artwork with a maximum of 2 entries per artist. You can select to enter the following categories:
- Painting / Mixed Media - total prize money $6,000
- Work on Paper - total prize money $3,000
- Photography - total prize money $3,000
- 3D Artworks - total prize money $2,000
We also offer these awards:
- Youth Award - 3 prizes of $250
- People’s Choice - $500
- Highly Commended - 5 prizes of $200
- Packing award of $100

Youth Entries
Youth section entries are $5 per artwork to enter with a maximum of 3 entries per artist. Sales commissions do not apply to Youth Award entries. To enter works in the Youth Section please visit: www.trybooking.com/CVYXY
Artwork Size
Your artwork size must not exceed 1.2 square metres. For eg. 1 x 1.2 metres. The total should be no more than 1.2 square metres including your frame.
Please remember to include a hanging wire on the back of your frame. The wire and D-ring should be approximately 1/3 the way down from top of frame.

Corowa Furnishings are generously offering FREE ARTWORK DELIVERY to our Art Show from two locations in Victoria:

Please call SER Logistics (on 03 9305 4047) or Beds R Us (on 03 5022 8495) to book your space.
Deliver your artworks to SER Logistics or Beds R Us by Wednesday 19 February 2025.
And please wrap your artworks generously with bubble wrap, and write clearly To be delivered to Rutherglen Tastes of Art Prize.
Corowa Furnishings will also deliver your artwork back to Somerton or Mildura if they are not sold at the exhibition.
Opening Hours
The exhibition will be open for viewing and sales on Saturday 8th March until Sunday 16th March 2025 between the hours of 10am and 4pm.
Gala Opening Cocktail Party
Friday 7th March 2025, commencing at 6.30pm.
Artists will receive a complimentary entry ticket and glass of Rutherglen wine to enjoy during the exhibition opening. Prize winners will be announced on the night after which sales will commence.

Important Dates to Remember
- Sunday 9 February 2025 – Entries close.
- Tuesday 4 March 2025 – Deliver Artwork to Rutherglen Memorial Hall between 10am and 5.30pm.
- Friday 7 March 2025 at 6.30pm – Gala Opening Cocktail Party. Free entry to participating artists, otherwise $20 per adult and $10 per student.
- Sunday 16 March 2025 – Collect artwork between 3.00pm & 5.30pm (unless notified that all artwork has been sold) or other arrangements have been made. Collection no earlier than 3pm please.
