NGO representative to the Minamata Convention on mercury, specifically regarding Dental Amalgam waste. Starting in 2012 and continuing today, with attend COP (Conference of the Parties) meetings
Participated in the East Africa Dental Amalgam phase down project. This pilot project was to prove the strategy proposed in the Minamata Convention was achievable in low resource settings. This involved initial visits to Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania plus follow up visits to monitor progress.
Order of Australia Association Foundation 2018 Scholarship recipient Hannah Gandy will provide members and guests with an update on her community service and work
