As a dancer and visual artist her admirers included Salvador Dali, Jean Cocteau, Tennessee Williams, and Joni Mitchell. But Vali was equally revered for her captivating persona and alternate lifestyle in the remote canyon of Il Porto, Positano, surrounded by animals. This ‘kingdom by the sea’ formed the backdrop of autobiographical pen and ink drawings, reanimated with tales from her life in Vali Myers Dream within a Dream
