About
Everyone has a role to play in making our communities suicide-safer and anyone can learn to start the conversation and help someone stay safe from suicide.LivingWorks safeTALK participants learn to recognise when someone is thinking about suicide and connect them to an intervention provider, such as a LivingWorks ASIST or MHFA trained helper. In this way, LivingWorks safeTALK participants build a safety network around these intervention providers and greatly increase their reach and impact. This training allows you to practice your skills in a safe and supportive environment and helps to address myths, barriers and respectful language around suicide.
No prior training or formal preparation is required to attend.
BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL.
Cost $130 +GST PP
SafeTALK is suitable for anyone to attend, 16yrs+.
safeTALK is a proven, evidence-based and accredited suicide prevention program and CPD points are available to eligible participants incl counsellors, teachers and social workers.
