Devi Mamak and the Caravan band is a brand new world fusion ensemble performing original compositions and arrangements with a classical/ jazz flair. The band is lead by classically trained pianist, composer and world renowned modern fusion belly dancer Devi Mamak. Devi has combined her knowledge of classical music, fascination with jazz and love of world music to compose and arrange original new music that is mysterious, eclectic, passionate and multilayered.
The band will be accompanied by dancers featuring a variety of different traditional and modern styles of dance. This physical manifestation of the music adds a beautiful visual element to the show.
