Worlds Around UsJoin the Preston Symphony Orchestra for an afternoon of music spanning time and space. This adventurous concert features work by Dvořák, alongside two young Australian composers, First Nations artist James Henry and Sydney-based Ella Macens. With conductor Andrew Groch, the orchestra is performing a fully orchestrated version of Henry’s ‘Warrin’ based on the Wurundjeri seasons of the year, and Macens’ ‘The Space between Stars’, before concluding with Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, a work peppered with the sounds and rhythms of the Bohemian countryside.
