Lifespan Dance together with The Art Gallery Of WA present
WHORL
WHORL is a seated dance performance opportunity and we warmly invite community and virtuoso dancers to be part of the performance.
WHORL is inspired by the spiral patterns found in coastal shells, botanical structures and in our own foot/finger prints. The work is choreographed by Paige Gordon, with music by Louis Frere-Harvey.
WHORL will be performed on chairs, placed in a spiralled formation. The performance will be led by professional dance artists who you will be able to see clearly. These 'dancer-guides' will lead you through the movement, so you don't have to remember the sequence - there will always be someone to follow.
Come celelebrate Seniors Week! Join the performance - numbers are limited.
