文醫生是一個非一般的精神科醫生，他善長發掘病人最深層的秘密。他偶然上了夜班計程車司機蔡辛強的車，在途中他發現蔡辛強的舉動有點不尋常。在幾天後，蔡辛強因為不小心駕駛需要做心理評估，文醫生成為了負責醫生，在過程中發現蔡辛強不能分辦夢境與現實，而且身體機能開始衰退，他決定找出蔡辛強問題的根源。在尋找的過程的中，文醫生也開始發一些令人不安和困惑的夢，在他一步步了解到蔡辛強背後的故事，他的夢境也變得越來越強烈跟可怕。到底他的惡夢來自被壓抑的記憶，還是找出蔡辛強秘密的代價？
