About

Cycle Dindi 25 is a family friendly charity bicycle event along the Great Victorian Rail Trail and is organised jointly by the Rotary Clubs of Alexandra and Yea, with support from the Friends of the GVRT. Cyclists have a choice of three starting points (Yea, Alexandra and Merton) with start times any time from 8am until 11am and riders choose how far they wish to ride. Included in the ride is Devonshire tea at a working farm at Nutfield, plus a demo in the shearing shed, and lunch at Cremona, on private property by the scenic Goulburn River. Riders also get to ride through the wonderful 200m historic Cheviot Tunnel. Entry price includes all this and lunch, and the full support of a sag wagon, bike mechanic and first aid. Live music at lunch is also included. The only extra cost is purchasing your own coffee from an onsite coffee van at lunch. All proceeds from the event go to support Youth Programs in the Alexandra and Yea communities
