Join Slow Food Noosa for an evening of quality food and cinema in Noosa’s most charming and rustic setting. Chef Josh Smallwood of Noosa Cartel offers three courses of Italian cuisine with locally sourced produce to accompany ‘Big Night’. A 1996 American comedy drama co-directed by Campbell Scott and Stanley Tucci, Big Night follows two Italian immigrant brothers (Tucci and Tony Shalhoub) as they host an evening of free food at their restaurant. Star performances from Minnie Driver, Ian Holm, Isabella Rossellini and Allison Janney also feature.MENU: Entrée – Antipasto; house-made focaccia, Mele’s salami and other cured meats, Cassa Motta buffalo mozzarella and marinated olives. Main – Abbacchio alla romano; slow cooked Sovereign lamb, sage & rosemary polenta, Noosa Red tomatoes and Good Harvest leafy greens. Dessert – Kenilworth Dairies yoghurt panna cotta and Amrita Park Meadery’s honey and blood orange confiture with an amaretti biscuit. Doors & Bar open 4pm. Movie 5pm Dinner 6pm.
