Friends of Music Series favourite Chris Nankervis returns with a piano recital of stories about ill-fated lovers: Prokofiev's own virtuosic transcription of Romeo and Juliet, and Liszt's Second Ballade based on the tragedy of Hero and Leander. Rounding out the programme are some poetic pieces by Scriabin and Peter Wilson. Not to be missed!
