Working with Difficult People - Tabor Ascend PD Workshop
Workshop Overview
Part a: MASTERING DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS (Morning session)
Difficult conversations are a natural part of working with others, yet they can often feel daunting. Many cope with this by simply hoping issues will resolve themselves, but this often makes problems worse. Developing skills to navigate these discussions is essential for fostering healthy relationships - both personally and professionally. This workshop will focus on how to approach tough conversations with confidence, enabling effective engagement and resolution of misunderstandings.
PART B: RESPONDING TO TRICKY PERSONALITIES (AFTERNOON SESSION)
In any environment, you’ll encounter challenging personalities and it is a truism that many of the people we work with aren't those we'd typically connect with otherwise! This workshop will help you identify tricky types like 'the Bully,' 'the Sniper,' 'the Know-it-all,' 'the Whiner,' and 'the Exploder,' and equip you with practical strategies for managing each. By understanding their behaviours and learning to respond with skill, grace, and assertiveness, you can prevent disruption and maintain a more positive work environment.
