Guitarist/composer Guy Strazz and drummer Toby Hall need little introduction as two outstanding musicians on the Australian jazz scene. Guy has released 10 albums on labels such as ABC jazz and Birdland featuring fantastic musicians. Between him and Toby, they have collaborated with player such as Dale Barlow, Don Burrows, Mike Nock, The catholics, Matt McMahon, Mike Stern, Martin Taylor, Sandy Evans, and Vince Jones. Fine bassist Fiona Lugg and inventive saxophonist Brendan Berlach complete StratoFibre.
Adapting swing, Afro-Latin, and a few international grooves to a few great standards and several originals by APRA awarded composer Strazz, the band thrives on rhythmic/melodic interplay and intuitive interaction often seeing guitar and sax working solos in tandem.
