The Love Your Neighbour (LYN): Introduction to Pastoral and Spiritual Care is a beginner's course in pastoral and spiritual care facilitated by Joseph Park, the Senior Chaplain for Jericho Road (Presbyterian Social Services). The course is for anyone wanting to be more equipped to care for others in their church, family and community. The course will also equip those that want to volunteer at local aged care facilities, schools or hospitals.The topics covered include:
- Pastoral & spiritual care
- Grief care
- Mental health care
- Self-care
The course will run over 4 Tuesday evenings in November. The dates are 19 November, 26 November, 3 December and 10 December from 7pm to 9pm.
