The Shed Theatre at The Pig and Whistle, 365 Purves Rd, Main Ridge VIC 3928.
Doors 7:30pm. Show starts 8:00pm
Don’t Thank Me, Spank Me! are a genius combination of sublime songwriting, good hair and matching Fender Mustangs - Aussie Fran Fines on dexies wielding loud guitars. The Melbourne outfit is made up of best friends Nitida Atkinson (vocals and guitar) and Esther Henderson (vocals and bass), and the sound is something like a parallel universe where the Runaways hung out with Britney Spears and cooked up guitar-heavy 80s bangers with garage-girl-group harmonies and attitude.
With a lifetime of stories etched into every note, Maxon brings her fierce spirit to the stage, crafting an experience that resonates with anyone who’s known heartbreak, resilience, and the journey to self-love. Her voice—a force as tender as it is powerful—connects listeners deeply, creating a sense of community and catharsis in every performance.
