jackson dahlenburg 'with love' Album Launch
Album launch for “With Love”, the debut instrumental solo album from Melbourne-based pianist and composer Jackson Dahlenburg. Combining jazz teachings with classical, ambient, and contemporary styles, Jackson plays piano as a tool to express deep contemplation and meditations on his life.
Having learnt jazz piano as a child, and playing in original pop and contemporary groups for the last 15 years, Jackson's sound is a unique juxtaposition of a foundation in jazz met with melodic sensibilities of pop music and strong inspirations of ambient classical music.
Jackson will play a solo piano set, followed by a set that incorporates electronics and synthesizers with the piano, and accompanied by Sophia Lubczenko on violin, and Pierce Morton on pedal steel and alto saxophone.
