Session Players Tasmania are offering you a range of ways to get involved in traditional music at the Deloraine Celtic Music Weekend 2025. The excellent tuition on offer not only includes tune learning, but also technique. We ask for all classes that you at least know how to comfortably play a D scale and a G scale on your instrument. All sessions are open to non-ticket-holders, and all events are open to all ages, minors must be accompanied by an adult.The Deloraine Celtic Music Weekend is primarily aimed at supporting Tasmanian musicians who play Celtic music. The main events of the weekend are instrument focused classes led by top class tutors. Our tutors are also offering an elective class on Saturday afternoon which may have some interactive musical elements but may be of interest to non-musicians. Our weekend also includes a Celtic Ceili on Saturday night and a Tutors Concert on Sunday Night. These evening events are open to the public and separate tickets are available.
