Gluten-free 'white' bread, baguette and rolls
Growing up in Germany, I have always loved bread. The taste of a fresh slice of bread with butter and cheese, or a warm bread roll or brezel on a Saturday morning is hard to beat! Good gluten-free bread is still difficult to find, and this is what we will be making in this class - a delicious loaf, a baguette (to make fabulous garlic bread!), as well as rolls, and perhaps even have a go at shaping some brezels!
We will make a yeast dough using my own gluten-free flour blend. We will then shape the dough to form loaves, baguettes and rolls. While gluten-free dough is often considered to be ‘impossible’ to handle, I will provide you with lots of handy tips on how to make it ‘possible’. Importantly, I would like you to come away feeling confident that you can make these at home.
