500 strong: Women’s health forum with guest speakers Dr Martha Hickey and Dr Lydia BrownLearn about the latest research in menopause and mental health, ask questions in a safe and supporting space, and dismantle some of the limiting beliefs and perceptions placed on older women. Hear from the experts on menopause, positive ageing and well-being.
Dr Martha Hickey is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Melbourne, and Adjunct Professor of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Sciences at Yale University, CT.
Dr Lydia Brown is a menopause and healthy ageing researcher, and a clinical psychologist with a small private practice.
Photographer Ponch Hawkes and curator Jane Scott will introduce the program with insights into the exhibition 500 Strong and the experience of working with so many courageous, creative women.
