Arnan Wiesel and Aaron Chew play romantic and 20th Century Four Hands works by Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Ligeti, Stravinsky and J.S.Bach/Kurtag.Experience a contemplative and exciting concert of four hands literature in an intimate setting: from Brahms' charming waltzes, romantic Schumann vingettes, to virtuosic Schubert variations; introspective arrangements of J.S.Bach Choral Preludes by Kurtag, eight rarely played short Stravinsky pieces, and rhythmically exhilarating short works by Ligeti.
Arnan Wiesel is a former head of the ANU School of Music Keyboard area, with a wide range of performances overseas and in Australia.
Aaron Chew recently earned his PhD from the Australian National University (ANU) School of Music. Aaron runs a private piano studio and teaches at Canberra Grammar School.
