Arnan Wiesel plays major Romantic era virtuosic masterpieces by Liszt and Schumann.The program includes Carnaval op. 9, Robert Schumann's virtuosic and expressive series of character pieces, complemented by his charming and innocent Scenes from Childhood Op. 15.
The Sonata in b minor is one of Franz Liszt's masterpieces, using visionary ideas in form and harmony. It is possibly an autobiographical account of the composer's life and uses the full expressive and virtuosic range of the piano.
