About
Learn the basics of how to play the classic game of Mahjong with Kate Myers and her team of volunteers.Over 2 sessions, you will be introduced to this fascinating and fun game, playing several guided games at tables of 4 and assisted by a volunteer tutor. You will also receive a handout to take home.
This workshop is structured over 2 sessions. One ticket covers both sessions:
Session one: Monday 10 February, 10am-12pm
Session two: Monday 17 February, 10am-12pm
About Mahjong
Mahjong is a game played with tiles and has a history of hundreds of years originally from China. There are many versions and this group will be learning the Australian version, in a non-competitive, friendly, gently paced learning environment.
