Based in British Columbia, Canada, Dr. Shelley Moore is a highly sought-after inclusive education researcher, teacher, consultant and storyteller. She has worked with school districts and community organisations around the world. Her research explores how to support teachers to design for all learners in grade level academic classrooms that include students with intellectual disabilities using strength based and responsive approaches. Shelley completed her undergraduate degree in Special Education at the University of Alberta, her Masters at Simon Fraser University, and her Ph.D. at the University of British Columbia.

Curricular DESIGN FRAMEWORKS THAT SUPPORT INCLUSIVE PLANNING FOR ALL STUDENTS
In this full day workshop, we will look at some inclusive curricular planning frameworks that allow us to design for a range of diversity using grade level curriculum. We will see examples of how we can use the Western Australian Curriculum in flexible ways to support success and growth for all students, while targeting self-determination and agency. We will also look at how IEPs connect to the curricular design process and discuss how to make grade level curriculum accessible for learners of any ability.

TWILIGHT SESSION 4:30pm to 6:00pm
leadership session: the infrastructure of inclusion
Are you a leader who is looking to move forward in your inclusive journey?
This session looks at research that can guide planning and conversations around infrastructural conditions that promote inclusive opportunities and practices in schools and classrooms.
Participants will be guided through reflection and goal setting on topics such as positive staff attitudes, placement and programming decisions, the role of peers and support staff, purposeful individualised programming and inclusive classroom planning for all.

- Where an invoice is requested, registrations are considered confirmed on submission of the booking form and all event terms and conditions, including cancellation policy, will apply.

- A $50 change fee applies where changes to attendee names are requested. Changes will be applied on receipt of payment.

- Cancellations made 15 days or more prior to the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to the event will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
