Introduction to Oil Painting with Amber Koroluk-Stephenson
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those returning to oil painting after some time. All materials provided.
Enjoy a day learning to paint using the rich colours and texture of oil paint. In this workshop, we will begin by exploring the basics of colour mixing to get a feel for the paint and how it can be applied to a surface. Using observation and with simple exercises, learn how to use colour and create form and depth in a painting, and capture light and shade.
With tutor demonstrations and one-on-one guidance, participants will create their own oil painting using a selection of reference photos provided.
