Introduction to Watercolours with Lynne Brown
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those returning to drawing after some time. All materials provided.
This workshop will introduce you in a fun and relaxed way to the magical medium of watercolour.
We will begin by looking at the three fundamental elements of painting in watercolour: water + colour + paper, including lots of useful tips on choosing paints, papers and brushes.
We will then learn fundamental watercolour techniques you need to succeed. The tutor will demonstrate each of the techniques step by step and allow plenty of time for you to try them for yourself. Then we will put this all into practice to create a leaf study and a simple but effective landscape scene.
