About
Join author Melissa Gijsbers in this workshop for young writers and aspiring authors. Inspired by the summer exhibitions at MAPh, learn how to craft stories using artwork as your inspiration, create your own piece of writing and leave with short story draft and a toolkit of ideas to fuel your imagination. This session is a lot of fun (and nothing like English class!).
Melissa Gijsbers is an author and booklover. She believes that everyone has an inner bookworm and that reading and writing should be fun at every age.
Free program
Suitable for ages 8 -12 years
We will have pencils and paper, but you might like to bring a notebook.
This program will take place in the Museum of Australian Photography galleries.
Participants will be supervised by MAPh staff, parents are very welcome to join in!
