MAPh school holiday program | Writing workshop - Secondary
About
Moonlight, mirrors, muses - writing workshop for secondary studentsJoin author Melissa Gijsbers in this workshop for emerging writers and aspiring authors. Inspired by the summer exhibitions at MAPh, learn how to craft stories using artwork as your inspiration, create your own piece of writing and leave with short story draft and a toolkit of ideas to fuel your imagination. This session is a lot of fun (and nothing like English class!).
This program will take place in the Museum of Australian Photography galleries. Participants will be supervised by MAPh staff, but parents are welcome to join in! We'll have paper and pencils, but you might like to bring a notebook.
Suitable for ages 11 – 18 years
