WEEK 1
TUESDAY 7TH JANUARY:
Moonbeam Jars
Make our wonderful self-esteem MOONBEAM JARS that shine in the night with fairy lights to remind you of your authentic strengths! Facilitated by Counsellor Nicole Neave.
Self-Esteem
Self-esteem can so easily be eroded but it can also be pumped up! This workshop will explore why your child feels the way they do and we teach some great ways to bolster that self-esteem. Facilitated by Counsellor Nicole Neave.
Open Art Kart
Kids have free choice to create what they desire! They can decide to do painting, drawing, gluing, creating, poster making...the possibilities are endless!
WEDNESDAY 8TH JANUARY:
Jewellery Making
Skillz Airbrushing and Artisan Rach present awesome Jewellery Making! This workshop will teach you new skills making your own stunning EARINGS, BEADABLE PEN or KEYRING...a unique creation for everyone to take home!
Anxiety Workshop
This is a very practical workshop for the children to learn to be the master of their anxiety and not their anxiety being their master! We teach the kids the tools to be ANXIETY'S boss!
Postcards from the Edge
Creative storytelling-this is a great workshop where the children join our virtual log around the fire to share their original folk tales.
THURSDAY 9TH JANUARY:
Michelle from VersaTile
🐝There will be a BUZZ in the air when Michelle from VersaTile flies by. You will BEE AMAZED by this FUN school holiday workshop. You will be buzzing with excitement as each participant will leave with an A4 Glass frame to proudly display their unique artworks.🐝We will BEE creating a magical BEE WITH HONEYCOMB & SUNFLOWERS THEMED PIECE.
🌻As an extra bonus all participants will receive a bag of GIANT SUNFLOWER SEEDS to grow at home in their own gardens. BEE quick so as to not miss out on this one.
Why being bored is good
Boredom gives children an inner quiet that helps with imagination and self-awareness. Creative processes can stimulate interests that will stay with the child for life. Children develop creative skills when they have to come up with solutions to boredom.
Drama and Board games
A fun afternoon where the children can choose to play from lots of fun games, including great trivia and scattegories tournaments to play with the staff and friends or get up on stage and create some drama performances!
Every day, we also have outdoor play with equipment, an open art and craft station, and access to all costumes and stage.
WEEK 2:
TUESDAY 14TH JANUARY:
Tahira Belly Dance Artist
We will be exploring the ancient art of belly dance and Arabic drumming. This is a fun and interactive workshop that incorporates craft, dance and making music. We will create a dance using traditional belly dance moves. We will make some jingle bells to wear and will learn drumming rhythms so there is something for everyone. With lively music this style of dance is a sensory wonderland. Great for boys and girls alike!
Sparkle Finder
Has your child lost their sparkle?! This is a very practical workshop for the children to learn to be the master of their anxiety and get their sparkle back!! We teach the kids the tools to be ANXIETY'S boss!
Pouring Paints Art
This Art Kart will provide the kids with an opportunity to be creative with pouring paints fluid art! This involves mixing colours in paint pots and pouring them onto the easel instead of using paintbrushes.
WEDNESDAY 15TH JANUARY:
Active Buddies Workshop
Join Hayley from Soldier Fit Personal Training. For 2hrs we will play fun fitness games, design and run an obstacle course, create our own fitness bingo and to finish off...we will perform mindfulness breathing and stretching! Prizes to win!
Goal Setting
This is a great workshop that teaches your child why they should learn goal setting from a young age! Facilitated by Counsellor Nicole Neave.
Drama Games
An afternoon full of drama games, drama cards, movement, diction and dreaming big!
THURSDAY 16TH JANUARY:
Creative Creatures
Winners of last year's Fringe festival bring their Creative Creatures UV Playshop to enhance children's creative expression, self-confidence and imagination. The children will explore creative play through UV painting and UV clay sculpting, creating their own creatures!!
Frustration (the other 'F' word)
Helping children overcome frustration. Being frustrated and how we deal with this emotion is a major issue for both children and adults. Firstly, we discuss how children express frustration and the situations that tend to elicit it. Next, we provide alternatives to unacceptable expressions of frustration and discuss that practice makes perfect and help the children develop a strategy of taking one small step at a time in approaching new things.
Woodcraft
A beautiful new wood workshop where your child will make some fabulous bring home treasures with their choice from many shapes and designs-your child will have fun creating with wood!
Every day, we also have outdoor play with equipment, an open art and craft station, and access to all costumes and stage.
WEEK 3:
TUESDAY 21ST JANUARY:
Join the circus with Rachel from Alchemy of Arts
Get ready to join the circus for a day with Ring Mistress Rachel! This workshop will include learning a variety of new fun tricks and skills like juggling, clowning around and balance...PLUS you get to dress up and have a chance to perform in your very own BIG CIRCUS show for your friends!
Friendship talk
Making the right choices regarding friends can make or break your child’s social and school life! This is an interactive wonderful workshop for any child. Facilitated by Counsellor Nicole Neave.
The Badly Behaved Puppet Show
The children love creating their own puppet show with our beautifully crafted hand puppets-the theme is Badley Behaved Puppets, and the children will produce and act out their own group performances.

ADDAMS FAMILY IMMERSION DAY
WACKY WICKED WEDNESDAY
FIRST TIME OFFERED-This WACKY WICKED WEDNESDAY is presented by Michelle from VersaTile Art Studio. Join us for a full day of an Addams Family themed 'Un PARTY'👁Coz We are Creepy and we're Kooky...Mysterious & Spooky...Not all together Ooooky...THE ADDAMS FAMILY! 😱NO Fun will be had... as it is WEDNESDAY'S Wishes.
Dress up 'Un Party'
It would not be an 'Un PARTY' without 'THING' showing us a weird thing or 2! We will bring 'THING' to life with a posable Hand Mixed Media Workshop. Find your inner character with COSTUMES 💯% ENCOURAGED!! 🎭Character role play on stage to complete this Wicked Wednesday Workshop.
Trivia, Art and Temporary Tattoos
There will be a photo booth to catch a momento of the day; Wednesday portraits; Black Sox giveaway; trivia and prizes; art and craft projects; temporary airbrushed tattoos in endless designs; and creating stories. Along with all this fun, there will be a workshop showcasing that being different is okay!!
THURSDAY 23RD JANUARY:
Making SWORDS or Wands
In this workshop your kids will make an authentic wand or sword. Sharpen them and then decorate them with crystals, vines, feathers or paint them-we then explain to them the powers of their own creation.
What is being BRAVE?
Being brave is doing something while you are still afraid. A great workshop on what being brave really means-show the kids how brave they have already been throughout their lives-from learning to walk to being able to put a seat belt on! Reframe what they are struggling to be brave doing at the moment. Facilitated by Counsellor Nicole Neave.
Keerley’s kickz
Learn self-martial arts defense with Keerley.

WEEK 4:
TUESDAY 28TH JANUARY:
MERMAID AND MERMEN IMMERSION DAY
Mermaid Playshop
Has your child ever wanted to be a mermaid or mer-creature? Come along to Alchemy of Arts Mermaid Playshop. Learn about life underwater through fun and play. With a focus on movement and exploration, your child will deepen their connection with the underwater world.
Merfolk learning
The children will learn the tales of merfolk mythology and also have the opportunity to create some of their own stories! Counsellor Nicole Neave will also workshop the idea of authenticity and how being who you are at your core can help you create a more streamlined expectation of yourself.
Mermaid and Merman crafts
The children can dress up in mermaid tails and create crafts such as shell art, earrings and other Mermaid art projects!
WEDNESDAY 29TH JANUARY:
Sound Healing with Cynthia
Cynthia's sound healing and yoga workshop will see the children using crystal singing bowls and Tibetan chimes to create their own vibrational healing songs to help them relax and transform their mind, body and soul.
Bullies
A MUST DO verbally interactive workshop with child Counsellor Nicole Neave. This workshop gives the kids the opportunity to speak up about bullying (and share stories if they feel comfortable) and learn the best ways to deal with a bully!
The stage is yours!
Have you got a child who wants to practice joke telling? How about play a musical instrument? Or public speaking? A fun afternoon of a free for all stage experience (the staff’s favourite)-be on stage or in the audience!
THURSDAY 30TH JANUARY:
SUPER STAR DJ WORKSHOP
Join Michelle from VersaTile in creating and designing your own faux DJ Turntable including an original 12-inch vinyl record. 💥'Fake it till you make it!' ⭐️Each rising artist will choose their own unique SUPERSTAR DJ NAME & PROFILE for the STAGE. Come along and let's create a Fun DISCO vibe.
Hard emotions
Frustration, guilt, embarrassment, shame and grief are just some of the emotions we will be talking about. Facilitated by Counsellor Nicole Neave.
