HERITAGE FESTIVAL EVENT
Visit Barton to discover the rich history of some of Canberra’s earliest office, residential and transport developments, places of worship, parks and recreation areas, as well as relics of native grasslands that have survived European settlement. Barton is a large area so we will be doing it on two separate Heritage Walks. Part 1 will start and finish at Telopea Park and focus on the area between Telopea Park and Brisbane Avenue. Part 2, on 25 May will start and finish at Bowen Park.
