The renowned world musician Yeshe returns to Bellingen with his mystical project Dharma Sonics. Healing Buddhist mantras are given a new voice through Yeshe and his band’s diverse instrumentation in a Kirtan style evening.The five piece band includes Cye Wood who will also perform a solo show at the start of the night. Cye Wood is a composer, sound artist, violinist and multi-disciplinary performer whose work delves into many aspects of sound creation.
Yeshe: Hailed by the Sydney Morning Herald as “Groundbreaking roots musician" and “Triumph of multiculturalism”, German born Yeshe is a true global musical gipsy, heavily inspired by his many years spent in Africa, with uplifting mesmerising songs that transcend all labels and boundaries.
