HERITAGE FESTIVAL EVENTVisit Barton to discover the rich history of some of Canberra’s earliest office, residential and transport developments, places of worship, parks and recreation areas, as well as relics of native grasslands that have survived European settlement. Barton is a large area so we will be doing it on two separate Heritage Walks. Part 2 will start and finish at Bowen Park and cover the area between Brisbane and Kings Avenues. (Part 1 of the Barton Walk is on 11 May.)
