2025 Lewis Miller - 2 Day Portraiture in Oil Workshop
Lewis Miller is a highly regarded Melbourne based portraiture artist. Miller has a long list of awards including the Hugh Ramsay Portrait Prize (1981), the Archibald Prize (1998) as well as being shortlisted 19 times and the Sporting Portrait Prize (2000). Miller’s work is represented in private and public collections in Australia and overseas, including the National Gallery of Australia, Art Gallery of New South Wales, National Gallery of Victoria, Australian War Memorial, Karolyi Foundation Vence and France Bibliotheque Nationale de France.
Join Lewis for a two-day workshop that consists of demonstration and practice. Participants should have prior experience in figure drawing and painting experience. A suggested material list will be provided on booking. Participants own colour selection is encouraged, however canvas size as per the material list is strongly recommended.
