This ticket gives you the opportunity to see the start of The Rip Swim. In its 11th year of escorting swimmers from Point Nepean (deep water) to Point Lonsdale, this event will see 111 swimmers take on the adventure. 24 are racing and the rest are swimming to savour the experience.You will travel on the Peninsula Princes Ferry to "The Heads" to see the start of the event. You will feel the excitement of the swimmers as they get ready to jump off and begin their swim across this magnificent body of water, steeped in folklore!
The ferry will watch the start for a short time and then head back to the terminal. Depending on the speed of the swimmers, you might just make it to the finish close to when they come into shore.
Total trip time is approximately 90 minutes. (Boarding 10.30am, arrive back to disembark approx.12.30 )
