The 2025 ACT Lightning Championship will take place on Tuesday 21st January 2025, hosted by the Eastlakes Gungahlin Chess Club.Location: Eastlakes Gungahlin Chess Club, Hibberson St, Gungahlin
Start Time: 7:15pm.
Time Control: 3 minutes + 2 sec per player per game.

Entry Fee - $10 adults, $5 juniors (under 18)
Prizes - Dependent on entries

The ACT Chess Association (ACTCA) plans a full year of events, the Lightning Championships being the first of many.
Future planned events for 2025 are the ACT Championships, the Easter Doeberl Cup, the ANU Open/Minor, Vikings Weekender and ACT Rapid Championships, all events to be ACF and FIDE rated.
