Historical Fiction Writing with Dianne Wolfer
Kalamunda library is excited to present, a not-to-be-missed opportunity to learn from one of Australia's most iconic Authors: Dianne Wolfer.
This workshop will focus on her ‘Light’ series books (featuring the Lighthouse Girl, Light Horse Boy, In the Lamplight, and The Last Light Horse), including semaphore/wartime postcard writing, and her latest novel Soaring with the Sugarbird Lady. Dianne will explain her writing process, giving practical examples, focusing on the importance of research, using primary/secondary texts and weaving fact and fiction.
Bookings are required. Writing workshop tickets are $10 per person plus booking fee.
