Earth Hour is celebrated across the globe every year usually in the third week of March. This year, instead of running an event which has a large associated energy and waste footprint, this year we want to give back to nature with a planting day, not only restoring habitat but providing homes and food to a multitude of creatures.Did you know the area around the Bundanoon dog park is a unique and endangered habitat called Southern Highlands Shale Woodland? We will be restoring some of this habitat and adding Casuarina species essential for Glossy Black Cockatoos as habitat and food trees.
Best places to park is on Ellsmore Road, or Bindar Cres, additionally parking at Bundanoon Bowling club is available and only a short walk to the dog park.
