10:15-11:00am - Introduction & Information about TMAG Education Programs
Refreshments provided. Hear about TMAG programs and resources available for teachers and schools.
11:00-12:00pm - On Island Artist Talks
Artist floor talks by contemporary artists Belinda Winkler and Valerie Sparks discuss their works.
12:00-12:30pm - Visit On Island Exhibition
Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery current exhibition of Tasmanian Artists
1:00-3:00pm - Ceramics Workshop
An introduction to Ceramics in the classroom. Teachers and artists Miriam and Caz will share skills, techniques and processes for working with and teaching ceramics.
(There is a $10 fee to cover the cost of clay materials and firing)
