Join us for a day out on the Southern Main line of NSW, riding behind members of the mighty ‘C’ class diesel-electric locomotives, to commemorate the past and present history of this ever popular class of locomotive.TOUR FEATURES INCLUDE:
* A morning departure of around 8am from Albury, featuring members from the mighty C class locomotives, including the iconic class leader C501, hauling a set of faithfully preserved passenger cars, for a trip into Southern NSW for lunch at Cootamundra, returning to Albury mid afternoon.
* Photo stop opportunity on both up and down journey’s.
* Slow travelling through the famous Bethungra Spiral, (Up direction only) to enjoy the full splendour of the rail Spiral, including a standing start of train into tunnels No.1 and No.2 to hear the locomotives in full song.
* The official release of “RAW POWER” the book, which will be available to purchase on board.
* BBQ lunch at Cootamundra on arrival.
* Food, drinks and souvenirs available on board.
