About
Aim: Come along for a tour of three suburban yards that are in the beginning stages of development. We will be discussing;- What is the purpose of the garden (what does the gardener want to grow in that garden)
- Consider permiculture principles such as direction of sunlight, soil type, rainfall in each yard.
- Brain storm ideas of garden design and plant selection that would work in the space, along with what the owner of the garden wants to achieve in the space.
When and where:
We will start in: Kanimbla at 9am
Finish in: Bentley Park approx 12
(Hang around for nibbles, cuppa and chat)
Come along and share ideas of what can be achieved in a small suburban block.
We will try to organize car pooling with other people from your area.
Members will be sent a code to sign up to this event for free. If you haven't been sent the code as at info@permaculturecairns.org.au. A purchased ticket will also be membership to permaculture cairns, making other events discounted or free.
