Connect with fellow WCEI members and guests over a delicious meal and a glass of wine, leaving you motivated and uplifted!Lara van Raay is a Tasmanian-based documentarian, field and social impact producer, and ‘Chief Story Catcher’ at Small World Documentaries. Passionate about storytelling, she creates engaging, educational, and entertaining factual content. An award-winning filmmaker, Lara specialises in short-form documentaries, with experience at ABC, National Geographic, MBC Dubai, and BDA London. She contributed to Mary Meets Mohammad, a Walkley finalist, and recently worked on Christmas Island for Plimsoll Productions.
This year’s theme, Accelerate Action, highlights the urgency of breaking down barriers and biases to achieve gender equality both personally and professionally.
