Poetry is power and this night will prove it. Laniyuk and Evelyn Araluen bring words that cut through silence, challenge the status quo and hold deep to culture, memory and resistance. Their poetry is sharp, lyrical and unflinching; rooted in Country, identity and the strength carried through generations.
Session 2 - Resilient Truth with Jeanine Leane and Claire G. Coleman
Thursday 29 May, 6pm to 7pm
Jeanine Leane and Claire G. Coleman are two of the most fearless and incisive voices in First Nations literature today. Their work unflinchingly interrogates colonial narratives, dismantles myths and reclaims space for Aboriginal storytelling on their own terms.
