Speed Friending: Respect Week Edition (Sem 1, 2025)
About
Get ready, get set… BUDDY UP!
Speed Friending is back! As part of Respect Week, we’ll be making meaningful connections while chatting about what respect and consent look like in all kinds of relationships—friendships, study buddies, and beyond.
Think of it as the usual wholesome, slightly chaotic Speed Friending fun, but with a side of thoughtful convo. We promise: no lectures, just good vibes and real chats about looking out for each other.
So whether you're here for new mates, hot takes, or just an excuse to escape campus solo lunches, come along for a wholesome sesh of rapid-fire friendship-building.
What to expect?
A welcoming space to meet like-minded pals
Optional chat prompts about friendships, boundaries & respect
Date: Thursday the 27th of March
Location: Ground floor, Building 189
Free event – all students welcome!
Content note: As part of Respect Week, some discussions will touch on themes of respect and consent in relationships. This will be done in a light and inclusive way, with no pressure to share beyond your comfort level.
Come for the friendships, stay for the warm fuzzies. See you there! 🥰
