David will explain the key sources and resources used, including his self drive research road trip through Germany in March 2024. His research discovered many interesting and tragic ancestors and stories, including a theatre fire to and cigar manufacturer who fought in the American Civil War, 20 who fought in the German Army in WW1 and over 110 family members murdered in the Holocaust, including two of David’s grandparents.
