The TOMCAT Little Big Band will bring to Kenmore Uniting Church's Cool & Classic Concerts for 2025 a programme called Frank and Friends, of arrangements celebrating the great American Songbook music made famous by stars like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Bobby Darren and Duke Ellington. TOMCAT LBB are led by vocalists Tom Peglar and Cat (Trina) Lincoln, who have gathered a stellar horn line-up: Ken Lincoln, Jan Hewerdine, Harry Ottley, Jeremy Williamson and Mike Keogh and an equally talented rhythm section: Sam Hewerdine, Aiden Arnold and Steve Fischer. These are all experienced musicians playing regularly at the Brisbane Jazz Club and other venues from here to the Gold Coast, in a variety of groups, but get together in TomCat to have fun with all that jazz. Come Fly with Me, All the Way, Orange Coloured Sky and Minnie the Moocher are just a few of the highlights. Come and chat with the top quality musicians over refreshments following the concert to round off an exciting afternoon.
